Katie McAllister has now finished her studies and will be stepping off the project. Phoebe MacRae and family are moving to Berkley and will also be leaving the project.

Status of Project Manager: we have made an offer of employment to Ananya Misra, a Ph.D from Princeton University from Perry Cook’s lab. She has indicated that she is interested in the position, but would like to come out to Vancouver to give a paper and talk about the project. Sid is attempting to arrange a time for her to come, preferably on the 13th.

Bob requested that everyone on the group remember to add their contact information to the Local wiki page for the project.

Bob reported that the new lab configuration has occurred, with the DIVA group now being located along the north wall of the large lab. Allison, Ying and Eric have reconfigured the space. There are a few more items that need to be purchased to complete the setup.

Max/MSP/Jitter accounts: Bob and Sid are working on tracking the license codes and purchasing enough new versions of MMJ to support our work over the next few years.

MatLab: the current installation of MatLab used by Allison needs to be upgraded for research work. Sid and Allison will look after this.

Travel/vacation schedule: Bob circulated a sheet for everyone to indicate their known travel plans for May and June. This is to help coordinate defining and meeting our milestones over the next two months.

Installation of working system for linguistics lab: Bob is meeting with Ying on Monday to integrate the new objects that she has created. Once those are up and running he will transfer the new system over to the Linguistics lab.

Sid blocked out the areas of development required over the next two months, and queried people as to the expected length of time to complete certain tasks. [Bob will lay out the timetable on a separate document for the wiki.]

Bob mentioned that during the development process Zoe will need to video and interview all researchers about the stages in the project.
