Zoe: 14 people in the probe, 4 no probes, 3 complete, Prior to giving a presentation to MAGIC Zoe will meet with Sid to go over aspects of the data and organization.

Liz: had a fitting with Helene for the new harness

Allison: has been getting the SVN repository up to date. Needs to get Arduino code working. Johnty dropped off the glove this morning for her but she needs to get one of the insoles. The build for Marguerite could be done by tomorrow afternoon.

Computer allocations:

DIVA1, DIVA2, DIVA3, DIVA4 are allocated for Liz, Marguerite, Allison, Karl.
	MacMini Intel for Cam

Bob to check with Ming re arrival of the new laptop.

Allison’s HIT course has two lovely animations – a “watermelon” and a block talking.

MJ has just finished his project report and will put them up on the wiki. Sid would like it to include all the technical, code, organizational, etc documentation included. MJ says the report includes technical diagrams and an explanation of why we use SVN. Looking to move on to the SDK filter work. Sid and MJ discussed implementation of filters and comparison with our current Holme’s work. Hoping to have things wrapped up by the end of next week.

Karl: has a preliminary version of MJ’s code that he’s been looking at and trying to compile. Has also been going through papers to get a better understanding of Holme’s approach to speech synthesis. Discussion of how to separate theory and practice in Holme’s work, since he has “magic” numbers that are not clearly explained in his discussions.

Liz and Sid discussed the option of different hand configurations and gestures for generating the speech data.

Johnty has also been working with the battery packs and the new connectors.

Lighting: Bob is trying to arrange for access to a theatre with an ETC board so we can record the lighting
